We’ll be screening the phenomenon that is the Justin Bieber documentary ‘Never Say Never’ – in all its 3D glory. In 2008, almost overnight, Bieber went from being a cute kid posting songs on YouTube, to a global superstar and the most popular child on the planet. Dubbed by ‘The Guardian’ as “the world’s first crowdsourced superstar,” Bieber is more influential in the world of social media than Barack Obama or the Dalai Lama. Jon Cho’s film has become one of the top grossing documentaries of all time, taking $30 million in its first weekend alone. It follows Bieber during ten days running up to a Madison Square Garden concert, which sold out in 22 minutes.
